Our international removal teams are experts at packing unusual, bulky, fragile and valuable items, so any special items are packed and transported using purpose made materials and equipment. Your glassware, china, grandfather clock or grand piano will be treated with the utmost of care. We can even take care of your house plants.
Comprehensive international packing service
Our experienced and professional staff will pack everything in your home for you using high quality materials to ensure that they are fully protected during the journey overseas. Our removers wrap every piece of furniture individually and pack small items such as books and CDs into specially designed export cartons. Britannia Willis removers have decades worth of experience in packing unusual, bulky, fragile and valuable items ready for export, and particularly vulnerable items which we pack into their own protective timber cases.
Secure international storage
If you are moving abroad but your new home is not ready to move into, Britannia Willis have the very best secure containerised storage facilities to look after your belongings until you are ready. As members of Britannia Movers International, we have the overseas resources to arrange reliable storage for your belongings, no matter how far you are moving. Your belongings will be safe and secure, with each container having its own unique job number and CCTV in operation in the facilities. Once in position in our warehouse, your storage container will not be touched until you request your goods.
International marine insurance
For complete peace of mind when moving abroad, we recommend using our international marine insurance. Britannia Willis' policy covers you against all risks of loss or damage from the time we take charge of your belongings until they are delivered to your destination.
When you move overseas with Britannia Willis, we take care to protect your belongings as if they were our own. It's also great value for money as we are giving you comprehensive cover through a major national insurer.
Individual and groupage container shipments
If you have a full container, which most removals do, your articles will be loaded into a metal shipping container and taken directly to the port for shipment. Alternatively, if your move is not big enough to fill an entire container, your effects will be bought back to our depot and placed into a consolidation warehouse, where they will be stored securely until being loaded along side other loads, ready for groupage shipment.
You will be advised of all these options during your survey and advised of the volume of your effects.
Groupage service - bar coding
In the case of groupage (shared load deep sea containers) all items will be barcoded so that we can ensure everything reaches you and nothing is left at the consolidation warehouse.
